Why?
We experience love in hundreds of ways, and we give thanks
for the love showered upon us. Sometimes we can show appreciation
for the love, but at other times we can only offer a shadow in
return for love given to us.
This is the story of the tremendous love lavished upon us, and
the inadequate thanks we give in return.
Those who love us may be delighted to make great sacrifices
for us, and we, in return, may be delighted to make great sacrifices
for them.
It all comes down to love—God’s love for us and the showing
of that love in many ways, but especially by the Sacrifice He and
His Son made for us. Now the challenge is for us to make sacrifices
for Him to show our love for Him.
