There is a story told about twelve lumberjacks in Canada.
They had been out in the woods working hard every day for three weeks. When they came into town, they wanted to go to Confession. They had not attended Mass in the three weeks that they were working in the woods.
The first lumberjack went into the Reconciliation Room and said, “Bless me, Father, for I have sinned. It has beena month since my last Confession. I have been working in the woods for the last three weeks and could not attend Mass.”
The priest said, “That is not a sin. Did you murder anyone?”
The lumberjack said, “No.”
The priest said to him, “You have no sin. You can go.”
The lumberjack went out of the Reconciliation Room, turned to his fellow lumberjacks and said, “No need to go in there today, boys. Only murder cases are being heard.”
